Meet the Team

Joe, Jessica, their young family and the whole team welcome you to the ‘Vicky Arms’!

Joe and Jessica Caudle were pleased to join the team at the Victoria Arms as Managers in December 2009, and were even more pleased to have been named ‘Managers of the Year 2010’. This year’s honour builds on their success as ‘Managers of the Year 2005’ with Wadworth and means that they have plenty of experience and knowledge to bring to the Victoria Arms. Joe and Jess may be young (ish), but they were childhood sweethearts, so they know each other well and work together to head a good team.

Our staff are well trained. Assistant Manager Adam Devine holds awards in Beer and Cellar Quality and Personal Licences. Meanwhile Assistant Manager Ben Shepherd has recently undertaken Health and Safety, First Aid and Food Hygiene exams. With all that in mind we can ensure that on the bar Jess, Adam and Ben will give you a warm welcome to the pub, supported by the bar staff members Emily and Faye.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes in the kitchen... Chef/Manager Joe and his team, Head Chef Briony and Second Chef Kay, with the help of weekend assistants Liam, Jake and Yasmin, work hard to ensure a mix of good honest pub food and seasonal specials are served efficiently. Joe, having been a chef for 12 years, is happy to cater for any dietary requirements... just ask!

Finally Mel, Jamie, Aime, Ellie, Imogen, Natasha, Kasia, Victoria and Emily, our weekend waitresses, will do their best to look after you on a busy Sunday lunch, so do say hi as you see them walk by.
